  • How much does a system/solution cost from OPS?
This can be a tough question because we create solutions for each customer. In a full OPS system that includes DC to DC, Solar Management, Distribution, and Shore Power you can look at a range of $1700 for a builders kit (comes with everything you need to install) to $2500+ for an installation of a system with accessories. Lots of variables like AGM vs. Lithium batteries, do you need a solar panel or not, mounting options, etc… can all impact price. Our goal is to build a system for you that is trouble free and provides reliable, renewable power to “Power Your Adventure”.

  • Can we buy accessories from you?
YES! We are dealers for many top brand electrical products. Need Lighting, a fridge, maybe a Comms setup? We can connect you with high quality products for many of your electrical needs. Any accessories purchased through us will be wired into the system without additional cost if you are participating in a vehicle system install.

  • I want the secondary battery under the hood, is that ok?
We get this question a lot and we often steer customers away from this option. Most modern overland vehicles have very limited room under the hood and do not allow for an appropriate size battery/ battery bank. We suggest a minimum of 100AH AGM battery to power your adventure. If you choose under the hood that number could be limited to 75AH-85AH. This means you would need to be very aware of your power usage in between charges. Most vehicles have places that larger batteries can fit. We are very experience and can customize to your needs for battery placement and design.

  • Do you have a portable system?
Yes! We build systems in a box that incorporate DC to DC, Solar, Shore power, and Power Ports. You will need to run 1 line from your primary (starter) battery to the location where you will store your box. This allows the box to be removed and placed in another vehicle, or it can be left at camp if you need to power your camp fridge or other accessories.
